The Manhattan is a pre-prohibition cocktail consisting of three basic ingredients: whiskey, sweet vermouth, and bitters. The proportions are also ideal for the home bartender—all you need is twice as much whiskey as vermouth (called a 2:1 parts ratio) and a few dashes of angostura and voila! Blackest Manhattan

2 oz Rye Whiskey

1 oz Jägermeister

3 dash Angostura

2 dash Cherry Bitters

Cocktail Cherry
1. Combine all ingredients (except cherry) into a mixing glass with ice.

2. Stir until chilled, about 30 seconds.

3. Strain into a coupe glass. Add a cherry and enjoy!
